- Designed and built the app solo: a native macOS notebook in Rust on GPUI, with three surfaces the entry library, an embedded agent, and settings.
- Built the embedded AI agent with BYOK (bring your own key), so notes stay local and model access stays yours. Anyone can bring in compatible providers as OpenAI or Anthropic
- Implemented citations, knowledge mapping, and semantic search: a SQLite core mirrored into a HelixDB graph for retrieval.
- Made writing itself the interface. The app keeps running quietly from the menu bar with a global capture shortcut.
- Built the release tooling and brand assets, and produced a 2D animated launch film to post on my socials.
